 The 2009 European Championship for scale model aircraft is over. 7 days together with 45 pilots, team managers, support team and the administration. A lot of very nice and kind people. Old friends meet old friends and new friendships is made. 7 days with calm weather, rain and wind but we managed to complete all 3 flights for both F4C and F4H class. A few pilots had some hards landings but we didn't have any really bad accidents. Finally, after a complaint from one of the competitiors, Peter Mc Dermott, GBR, won the F4C class, with Marc Levy, France, in second and Pavel Fencl, Czech Republic, in third place.  United Kingdom won the team championship with France in second and Czech Republic in third.  In F4H Alex Kennedy, GBR won first place with Michael Strand, Sweden in second and Alessandro Frisoli, Italy, in third place.  Stefan Olsson from Sweden won the Nordic Championship in F4C with Thor Arne Solberg, Norway, in second and Ulf Jornheim, Sweden, in third place.  Team Nordic Champion F4C. First Sweden, second Denmark and third Norway.  On the Banquet on Saturday night every pilot got a handmade plaque with a small metalpice from a Junker 88 rescued in a Norwegian lake. Every plaque was handmade by Svein Leivset. Piero Santucci got a special price for the best warbird, given by the Norwegian Aviation Museum in Bodø.
